Bearnefits Specialist

Location: St. Louis, MO

This pawsition is responsible for the implementation and day-to-day administration of various bearnefit programs including Leave of Absence, Worker’s Compensation, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Part-Time Health & Welfare Bearnefits, Flexible Spending Accounts, Scholarship Program, Associate Stock Purchase Plan, Wellness Program, and billing. This pawsition will also be responsible for the development of bearnefit program reports and other ad hoc, on-going reporting through Lawson and ADP. This pawsition may also conduct research on new bearnefit programs, such as College Savings 529 Plans and Commuter Programs that would involve completing a cost analysis and preparing proposals for approval of such plans.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related area, and at least two years of prior bearnefit related work experience. Superior PC skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, & Powerpoint are also needed. Excellent communication skills and prior customer service experience are beary important. Any prior work experience with ADP, ReportSmith, or Lawson is a plus!

Marketing Support Cub

Location: St. Louis, MO

This position is responsible for general administration work within the marketing team. You will prepare, duplicate, collate, and distribute marketing materials to store teams. You may also be responsible for filing, typing correspondence, and other clerical tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor degree in marketing or equivalent work experience. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior office and retail experience is a plus!

Public Relations Bear

The Public Relations Bear is responsible for media contact and pitching and copywriting for press kit materials. Position will also handle media list building and research, media tracking, measurement and reports of coverage to management. Responsible for publicity for new store grand openings and other company wide promotional initiatives including , Stuffed with Hugs, Huggable Heroes, and other company wide PR and marketing programs.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, or related field along with a minimum of 5 years of public relations experience. SEC Reporting Anabearlyst

Location: St. Louis, MO

This pawsition is responsible for SEC and all other external reporting requirements. It also provides assistance with GAAP research and prepares consolidated financial statements. The pawsition will also prepare international regulatory compliance reports as well as special projects as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and be a CPA and have a minimum of five years of recent experience in SEC accounting using an automated general ledger. A strong ability to multi-task and to process large volumes of work quickly is also required. Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as GAAP research tools.

SEC Attorney

Location: St. Louis

This pawsition is primarily responsible for handling securities assignments in our Legal Department. Other responsibilities include managing compliance with, and filings under, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, including proxy statements on Form 14A, periodic reports on Forms 10-Q and 10-K, current reports on 8-K, Section 16 reports on Forms 3, 4 and 5, and Section 13 reports on Schedules 13(D) and (G), handling corporate governance matters including compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, NYSE regulations, and the Company’s ethics, disclosure, and insider trading policies, and assisting in the management of relations between the Company and its Board of Directors, including preparation of Board and Committee meeting schedules, agendas, materials, minutes, charters, resolutions and websites.

Qualified candidates will possess at least three years of legal experience and substantial experience representing public companies, in preparing SEC filings, financings, contract negotiation, and general legal advice. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and PC skills are also essential. Intellectual Property legal experience is a plus, but not required.
