How much does a Build-A-Party® at Build-A-Bear Workshop® cost
YOU set the price starting at only $10 per Guest! Just tell our pawsonal party planner your desired price and your party leader will ensure that each Guest has a great time while staying within your budget!
Your Guests can select an undressed animal priced $10 – $25 and choose optional outfits and accessories (additional $2 - $15) to personalize it even more! You only pay for the furry friends and fashions your Guests take home. And with NO additional fees you’ll stay within your budget!
When you schedule a party, we do require a deposit to reserve the date. The deposit is applied to the cost of your party on the day of your visit. Credit cards are accepted for booking online, and credit cards & checks are accepted when booking by phone. Parties may be cancelled 24-hours prior to the party date for a full refund or the deposit may be applied to another date if you choose.

How do I schedule a party?
Book online using our Party Scheduler, visit a store – over 325 worldwide, or call a pawsonal party planner at (toll free) 1-877-789-BEAR (2327).
Information to have ready when scheduling:
- Contact name, address & phone number
- Guest of Honor name and age
- Preferred party date & time, plus alternate date & time
- Number of party Guests you are inviting
- Price per Guest or name of selected animal (click here to see a list of furry friends)
- Deposit to reserve party date (credit cards for booking on-line; credit cards & checks accepted when booking by phone or at a store)
By using your confirmation number, you can make changes to your party with our on-line Party Scheduler up to 2 weeks prior to the date. For additional changes please call a pawsonal party planner at (toll free) at 1-877-789-2327.
How many Guests do I need and how long will my party take?
6 or more Guests are required for a scheduled Build-A-Party®. If you would like to schedule a party with more than 19 Guests, please call (toll free) 1-877-789-BEAR (2327), so that we may make special arrangements. Parties typically range from 1 to 1½ hours. This is only an estimate. The length of the party will depend on the number and age of Guests and additional activity in the store at the time of your visit. It is helpful for younger Guests to fill out a Party Story Planner prior to the party, to ensure they are able to register for our Find-A-Bear® ID system. After scheduling, if the number of party Guests increases or decreases by 5 or more, please call and let us know as far in advance of the party as possible.
Should supervising adults attend a child's party?
An adult must be present at every party. We also request that a parent be present for every child 3 years of age and younger. It is not necessary for all parents of party Guests above the age of 3 to be in attendance during the party. It is helpful for younger Guests to fill out a Party Story Planner prior to the party, to ensure they are able to register for our Find-A-Bear® ID system.
Will we be able to have refreshments at the store?
We are not licensed to serve food and beverage in our store. We invite you to visit our Build-A-Bear Workshop® location page for a list of Food Partners in the mall that may offer a discount to your group. Call the participating restaurant for specifics on what can be offered to your group.
