Build-A-Bear Workshop® has created Bearemy's Book Club
to encourage children of all ages to read about bears and other wonderful
friends and adventures. The Book Club also gives kids a voice in reviewing and
rating books for other kids. Check out our spotlight

Build-A-Bear Workshop developed a partnership with First Book®, a national literacy organization that provides new books to children from low-income families. Through the sale of a special bear, Read Teddy®, Build-A-Bear Workshop and First Book hope to put books into the hands of children who would otherwise not have them.
With the purchase of each Read Teddy, Build-A-Bear Workshop donates a portion of the proceeds to First Book as well as to other literacy organizations. These contributions help First Book to purchase books that will be distributed through its local advisory boards in communities across the country.
