My Grandchildren love their bears as much as their Mom did!

One of the best parts of my heart, my grandmother, passed away May 6^th after a short battle with cancer. This bear has brought me so much comfort; I catch myself daily wishing that my Queen was still here. The joy of hearing her voice, telling me she loves me – I can't explain that feeling.

My niece is bunny mad -- for her 8^th birthday she chose this Build-A-Bear stuffed animal. We have spent a LOT of time in the store recently!

This is my son Harley enjoying making his birthday bear! He really enjoyed making the bear, then he blow dried him then put the bears army uniform on. He already had a name ready when he picked the clothes for bear, so he called him Sergeant Major. My son enjoys visiting the Build-A-Bear Workshop and no doubt we will be back to add to his collection!

Even though I have anxiety, I do not qualify for a real service dog, and I already have one real dog to care for. So, I got a Build-A-Bear stuffed animal instead! I am very happy with him, and I'll love my therapy dog forever!

I got my golden retriever, Murphy, because I loved my friend's golden named Murphy so much! Unfortunately the real Murphy passed away a year later, but now I have this cute little puppy to remember him, as well as to snuggle!

I took my 3 year old little boy tonight and let him "BUILD" his very first Build-A-Bear stuffed animal!!! One of the most beautiful and amazing experiences we've shared so far! Watching the pure joy and awe all over his face during the process was truly a memory I'll forever cherish. He's currently sleeping with his "baby" and he's most definitely been the most protective "father" I've seen from a child his age! This opportunity and experience means more than I can put into words! Thank you all!!

My daughter wanted to get my mum something special for Christmas. My younger brother passed away 2 years ago, and my daughter made a bear with a chorus of his favourite song. The 2 girls that helped us were fantastic; they went above and beyond....it was perfect, and I only cried a little. I know my mum is going to love it, and I love my daughter for having such a thoughtful heart. Thank you Build-A-Bear for making our dream come true. I love Build-A-Bear so much, I get a stuffed animal anytime I can. We saw these at Walmart -- it made me very excited, and now my best friend and I have matching bears!

I love Build-A-Bear! I am a lifelong bear and plush animal collector, and I got this turkey just a few weeks ago because my birthday is at the end of November, and sometimes it falls on Thanksgiving, as it did last year. So I associate turkeys with my birthday!

Annabelle got her very 1^st Build-A-Bear stuffed animal on her 4^th birthday this year... I think we may have started a new tradition!

I'm 16 years old and have fallen in love with Build-A-Bear! Anytime I'm stressed, it's nice to be surrounded by cuddly faces. I love Build-A-Bear so much and actually plan to work there when I'm able. In a world full of chaos and depressing sights, it's so nice to be able to just get a hug from my Build-A-Bear stuffed animals.

Blake is 4 years old and was so excited to pick out his very own Build-A-Bear stuffed animal online! When Paw arrived, he was SO happy and they've been best friends ever since! ❤️ 🐾

My grandpa is nearly 100% blind, so when he ended up in the hospital with an infection, I knew something "visual" like a Get Well card or balloon would not cheer him as much. I got him something that he could cuddle, smell a sweet pumpkin spice scent, and squeeze the paw to hear his great-grandson's voice recording and mine saying, "Hi Grandpa Clark, we love you!" Every time I would squeeze the puppy's paw, he would laugh and say, "I love you, too, Andrew."

Justine had a "beary" wonderful time attending the Bear Builder University workshop! She learned how these special friends come to be, from stuffing bears, making wishes, to even using the cash register! She was involved creating her new friend from start to finish in the Build-A-Bear Workshop. Her experience was one that will surely remain in her mind and heart, as well as in the heart of her new furry friend "Rachel".

This was the only bear she wanted for her birthday, and her aunt got it for her! She sleeps with it every night.

Rhian is 9 and suffers from anxiety. To help her in school they let her take a teddy. When she saw Build-A-Bear offered a teddy in a school uniform, she wanted one so that her teddy would fit in with the rest of her class!

I took my daughter all the way from Seattle to St. Louis to meet her brother and sister for the first time. We met them at the St. Louis Zoo, and they all three fell in love instantly! When we saw the Build-A-Bear Workshop there we decided to go. This was the best decision I made! Her brother and sister recording a message in her bear, and now she has this special memory of meeting her brother and sister! because of Build-A-Bear, she brought a piece of them back to Seattle with her! THANKS BUILD-A-BEAR!

My son's 11^th birthday was yesterday -- he was so happy with his bear! 

We recently visited Build-A-Bear Workshop, and my son was super excited to find the bear he wanted, who he named George. Was lovely to stuff him with fluff, put a beating heart inside, with a lovely strawberry scent. A lovely touch to print out a birth certificate. Good reward scheme too. We will visit again!

Aerik has been battling Epilepsy since a few days before turning 3. For his 6^th birthday, he wanted a birthday bear for his birthday. We never could have predicted the relationship he would form with a "stuffed animal". His classroom has a strict "no toy rule", but his amazing teacher asked his nurse and principal to add Mr. Bear to his IEP so he could continue to attend class with him. He is excited to go pick up a new friend for Mr. Bear tomorrow and stuff it with lots of love for #NationalTeddyBearDay!

I found my bear in Walmart!

I've loved Build-A-Bear Workshop since I was young. I work for Walmart and when I saw the display I couldn't resist! His name is Marshmallow! I'm obsessed with teddy bears and Build-A-Bear is my favorite store in the mall to go to. I want others to experience the joy I get when I adopt a new member into my family.

I got a Build-A-Bear stuffed animal! I love all the accessories to chose from. 

My son really likes bears because he likes to say say "Roar!" 

Mommy has loved Build-A-Bear since she was a little girl, and she shares that love with me! We love coming in together and making bears to share that love with.

Woke the kids up at 2AM to head cross-country to Disney World. They didn't care where we went, as long as her Rabbi (received at 1 year old) and his Newbie (received at 1 day old) went along! Five years after this trip, the kids are 10 and 12, and they still love these two animals more than any of their other Build-A-Bear stuffed animals! He followed all the instructions, and immediately started hugging his new bear when he was done. He now sleeps with him and all his bears! 🥰

I brought my son to Build-A-Bear Workshop for his 1^st birthday -- he had more fun taking things off the shelves and being a turkey than he did with making a bear! The girls who work there sang to him, and were very patient with him. 

For International Hug Day 2019, my daughter chose a bear and decided to get her unborn baby sister a matching one. Thea was just 3 days old when Sophie gave her her very first teddy bear. It's pure luck that I managed to catch this beautiful windy smile on camera as Sophie gave the bear to Thea. Thea is now 9 weeks old and she utterly adores her bear. When she's overtired and crying, having her bear against her cheek helps her settle and when she's awake and happy, it's obvious that she loves it. She gets really excited, tries to reach for it, buries her face in its fur, grabs at it, smiles at it and makes little noises like she's trying to talk to it.

Our son has epilepsy, autism, and is vision impaired. He has been begging us for a dog that can help him (we are raising funds for a service dog). He fell in love with the labradoodle at Build-A-Bear yesterday, then we found the service dog vest. This is his "in-service dog" which has quickly become more like an emotional support "dog" for him. He walks it on a leash all over the house, brushes it, feeds it and plays fetch with it! This is the BEST training for when he finally receives his real service dog! Thank you Build-A-Bear for supporting the special needs community and Canine Companions! ❤️

My baby bear name is Softy. I cuddle her, kiss her, and love her all the time. She is pink and I love pink too. I love my Softy!

Rocky is his name, and Kaelani loves him so much! She takes him with her everywhere she goes.

I brought my 6 year old daughter into Build-A-Bear and she absolutely loved it! She named her bear "Jessie" after her best friend. Your staff were wonderful and even brought a tear to my eye with how well they treated her -- just watching my daughter make the bear, and the process involved, was simply magical; she hasn't stopped talking about it! We recently went to Build-A-Bear Workshop -- it was our first time and our kids loved it! The staff was friendly and so helpful...they really made it an unforgettable experience for our kiddos! We are hooked!

My boyfriend and I bought Pan (our rabbit) on our second date, after having met at summer camp. We are now long distance (I live in London, he's in NY) but whenever we meet up we swap who has Pan, until the next time we see each other. I have just sent him another bear for our two month anniversary so we can swap out, but Build-A-Bear has enabled us to strengthen our relationship!

We visited Build-A-Bear with our daughter Sienna. We just married in Italy and she was our beautiful little flower girl, so -- as her present -- we decided to get her a lovely teddy, dressed in a flower girl dress, just like she had on the day! She had an absolutely amazing time at the store. As you can see by her face, Sienna loved the whole experience and the staff were great, showing her what was happening every step of the way. She hasn't put the bear down since!

My first time in New York, I went with my mom to the Build-A-Bear Workshop. We are from Chile, in South America, so we don't have this shop at home. It was a dream come true! I got my bear that I named "Tommy"!

My daughter went in to celebrate her 3^rd birthday with the help of the staff at Build-a-Bear Workshop. Everyone went out of their way to make her new "fur-maid" and feel loved on her special day. Great beginning to a new school year as well. Thank you!

Tyla and Daddy made Ella with love the night before he deployed. Ella was filled with Daddy's voice, giving Tyla encouraging words and I love you's to hold onto until he returned. Tyla did not sleep one night without Ella, even after Daddy safely returned home. Ella has become an irreplaceable member of our Army family, and we love love love her!!!

We visited your Kings Island Build-A-Bear Workshop store for the first time during a Pay Your Age promotion, and my daughter couldn't have been more pleased with her new rainbow bear! The staff was really engaging and friendly, too. It was a great way to start off our visit to the park!

After being diagnosed with autism I was taking some time to adjust to it, although I was really happy, too. Build-A-Bear has always cheered me up, so going in I fell in love with the German shepherd. I already had the assistance dog vest, so I made her, named her Holly, and now she's my therapy dog when I feel upset ❤️ Now with the Bonus Club I have enough points to buy her some treats too!

We started the tradition of building a bear at Build-A-Bear Workshop every year for their birthdays, and they are obsessed! They bring them everywhere! 

I brought Scarlett (12) along to Build-A-Bear Workshop yesterday to choose a new bear -- despite my worries about how busy it may have been, she coped amazingly well. Scarlett has autism and can find it difficult in busy and loud places. She was treated like a queen by all members of staff we encountered, and she loved the whole process. Build-A-Bear made this special girl smile so much, thank you!

Our good friend was going through a really rough time, so 4 of us recorded messages on separate recorders, to let him know just how special he is. We had him build his Build-A-Bear stuffed animal, and placed one recorder in each of the hands and feet. Each placement has a special meaning to him. He said it has helped him cope with his issue. He is truly an amazing person.

The Museum of Discovery and Science hosted the "Bear Hugs for Special Kids" event, with about 150 children with cancer and their families. In the morning, they enjoyed the IMAX documentary film "Great Bear Rainforest" along with popcorn and beverages. Afterwards, they enjoyed exploring the Museum, and we hope that everyone involved had a very special day!

My baby nephew had to have a major operation on his skull, so we got him doctor bear to help him recover in the hospital!

Millie turned 2 on National Slurpee^®Day, so she got a special date with mommy! We went to Build-A-Bear and made her new best friend -- Slurpee Bear!

Was on vacation and another customer had a coupon where she could get 2 Build-A-Bear stuffed animals for the price of her age, so she let my daughter get one for her age! I thought that was really nice of them, because my daughter truly wanted one.

My daughter's Girl Scout group helped younger girls build their Build-A-Bear stuffed animals, then they got to build their own! 

We first went to Build-A-Bear when we were pregnant with our first born son, then on his first birthday, and now it has become a tradition! I don't know how much longer we will get the same joy of coming to Build-A-Bear, but we are cherishing the tradition. Even asking when he has a brother or sister if he could build them a bear of their own... we are so thankful for all the memories and friends build a bear has given us.

My little girl Ellie chose herself a bear for the 1^st time with her friend Rowan! She chose her kittens heart and put it in after giving it a kiss. Now she will not go to bed without her Cookie

Rebekah went to get her first Build-A-Bear stuffed animal today. She just turned one on Saturday, and was a little under the weather, but she lit up when it was time to choose a song to add inside! She started to dance in my arms. Our llama Tina smells like lavender, and has helped her while she is suffering from a high fever! So excited for more trips.

My little man Landon LOVED getting his bunny for Easter. After being sick for a week, we thought nothing better to get him a new buddy to cuddle! He loves Floppy the rabbit.

Our youngest daughter has many medical conditions, and her doctors are in the same town as the closest Build-A-Bear location (about 2 hours from home). This year, we were fortunate to get a Pay Your Age certificate, and it happened that her cardiology visit was the same week as your event. She was feeling a bit overwhelmed, so it was nice to surprise her with a visit to Build-A-Bear! Thank you, Build-A-Bear, for always being a special place to stop for us during some of our worst days.

My daughter Kylee had a completely magical experience building her first fur friend, CeCe. From start to finish, the store staff made sure it was magical. She even happily retold every second of the story at home to her dad and our dog (who just so happens to look a lot like CeCe). We were very excited when we received our Pay Your Age voucher! Celestina just turned two last week, and so it was a nice birthday present. We went to our Build-A-Bear this morning, and she ended up choosing her "kitty" and was very excited to stuff her. Her Daddy helped her with the stuffing pedal and I helped her pick out a heart. I think her favorite part was putting the heart in, because when we went to her grandparent's house later in the day she flipped her kitty over and pointed to the kitty's back and said heart (the spot where she put the heart in). I think she had an amazing time, and is excited to go back in the future! ❤️ 🐻

This is my son and his best friend "Camo". This was his first Build-A-Bear stuffed animal he got, during our first family vacation when he was 10 months old! I love capturing these everyday memories of him and Camo, and wanted everyone to be able to see a sneak peek of it too!

My boyfriend from overseas came to my country to stay for a while! To celebrate, we went to Build-A-Bear and created a teddy bear that had the same outfit he often wears, and also gave the bear a guitar since he plays the guitar, put his voice inside of it, and made it smell like birthday cake since we made the bear on his birthday! This was a special time together as a couple, and I will forever cherish this bear.

My son Axel had his first experience at Build-A-Bear for his birthday, and what an amazing time he had! They gave him the royal treatment with stickers, hat and bell! We have to drive over an hour to get to the store, so it was well worth the special trip! We usually drive to the area for specialist doctor appointments, but this time was different and so special -- his bear has gone to surgery with him, and he sleeps with him every night. Thank you for the awesome experience!

My daughters first ever trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop, where she made her unicorn. It was so worth it just to see her light up during the experience!

At the beginning of the school year, I promised my sweet Carlie girl that she could have a Build-A-Bear stuffed animal once she graduated from Kindergarten. This is the day after her Kindergarten graduation. :)

When my granddaughter was building her bear, the attendant asked what she'd like to name her bear. When Jess hadn't answered, the attendant asked her if she was thinking, Jess replied, "ya, blinking!" And that is how Blinking got her name. Jess is now 11, and she still has her beloved Blinking!

Today was my daughter's 3rd birthday, so of course we bought her the birthday bear! She was topped off with a pink tutu and birthday shirt with pink shoes and roller skates. My baby was really happy with her bear whom she named Jessie. I really have to commend the ladies that worked with us today as we took our time to get our bear just right. They had a lot of patience and continued to have fun with my daughter. So I truly thank them!

We purchased our Build-A-Bear stuffed animal after my daughter turn 4 months old. The scent we picked out for her still smells so good! She is now 13 months old, and has been able to grow with it and create unforgettable memories that will last her a lifetime.

We came into Build-A-Bear for my son's first birthday, and he fell in love with the lion. He wouldn't let go of it -- how could I say no? I ended up getting him the city kit to go with the lion. He loves the bear so much. My son is called Jack Bear, so we have called the teddy (Bear) also. A big thank you for the happy birthday teddy, and also for the happy birthday T-shirt to go with it!! My daughter wanted to get this big bear for quite some time. So she saved her paper route money, took back pop cans, and she bought him! She comes home and cuddles with "Rainbow" every night. She even fits her T-shirt and her old shorts from last year!!

We started a tradition the year my daughter was born, which involves visiting Build-A-Bear Workshop at Halloween. My daughters first Halloween in 2017, we dressed her as a mummy and bought her the Mummy Halloween Bear. Last year she was a pumpkin, as we had previously seen the light-up pumpkin scarecrow... imagine our surprise when one of your staff members was also dressed as a pumpkin! My daughter was so excited, and your member of staff took time to play with Harlei and she asked for a picture. Service was amazing from her, and I was only too happy to take this picture... I wonder what this years halloween theme will be! #excited

This is my precious grand baby with her new "Miss Kitty", on her very first Build-A-Bear adventure. She loved adding fluff to her stuffed friend, and then bringing her to life by kissing the heart and placing it inside. I wrote a song for her when she was born and was able to record a portion of it and add it to Miss Kitty's sweet little Paw. Now she can squeeze her and not only feel Miss Kitty's love, but hear just how much Mimi loves her too. This is Ava's very first Build-A-Bear stuffed animal. Her name is Candy-Floss. Candy wears a beautiful sparkly dress with pink high heels. Candy gives Ava a big hug and kiss each morning, night and after school.

For the past 18 years of my life, Build-a-Bear was one of the biggest influences in it! I constantly dressed up my bears and made them participate in fashion shows, and it helped me discover my true interests and what I wanted to do as an adult. I was able to express myself through dressing them up in the most fashionable outfits, and BABW helped me shape my colorful personality and who I am today. I will be happily entering the fashion field for my career. Daisy (Summer bear 2007) is one of my all time best friends, has stuck with me through everything for almost 12 years, and always will remain on my bedside, no matter how old I get. Build-A-Bear Workshop is such a huge part of my childhood and will always own a piece of my heart! :-)

Ethan is a micro preemie, born at 25 weeks and weighing 640 grams, has spent over 150 days in the NICU. He has a very rare pneumatacele diagnosis and has undergone multiple surgeries. Despite his uncertain beginnings, Ethan is doing exceptionally well. Today he turned 5 months and we were told that we can finally bring him home soon! Please see Ethan's reaction to the exciting news. We look forward to Ethan outgrowing his furry cub Azul.

Miller spent 11 months wearing a helmet to correct his severe Brachycephaly. When treatment ended, Miller's bear, "Mr. Helmet", is now keeping his helmet safe for him. 😊 😊

My mother-in-law had been diagnosed with liver cancer and was given months to live. We chose to take her to Build-a-Bear to build each of her 5 adult children a bear, complete with a message from her in each. I think it made her passing a little easier on each of them, knowing any time they wanted to hear her voice all they have to do is squeeze a paw.

This is Julia's first Build-a-Bear teddy that her big brother, Logan, made for her. Logan brought this bear to the hospital when he was meeting his little sister for the first time. Now Julia has a special gift from her big brother and we have something to help us see her growth. I know Logan cannot wait until Julia can build her first bear all on her own.

My son got his bear 5 years ago today. Now today, my youngest steals his bear and doesn't let go of him. We need to get them back in the store, so she can get her own bear! She calls it her Ashy bear -- her brothers name is Ashton and we don't get to see him that much.

This year is my daughters first Easter, and her uncle bought her the bear, and I bought her the clothes. She already loves her bear very much as she keeps smiling at it. She's 11 weeks old and already has a best friend in the bear, who we named Bunny Bear!

When our first granddaughter was born 10 years ago, I ran off to Build-A-Bear, picked out what I wanted, had it filled, and took it to her. When our second son had his baby girl, he asked me to wait till she was old enough to go and select her own stuffed animal, which I did. I want to thank Build-A-Bear for providing the environment and resources to live these incredible moments with our children and grandchildren.

We took our son Reece to Build-A-Bear for the first time, and we had such an amazing experience! He loved picking out 2 animals and being able to stuff them! We all loved it, from making a wish while holding the heart to picking out sounds, scents, clothing, creating a birth certificate and -- best of all -- taking our new friends home!

I'm in the hospital quite often and my comfort always comes from a bear. Forever grateful for this store that never fails to make me smile and feel better 💙

Ryder (the bear) has been a blessing to our little boy. Rhett has had vision problems since before one year of age. We got Ryder for Rhett when he was 10 months old. Rhett's brain, as we were told, cut off connection to his right eye, due to extreme loss of vision in that eye. Rhett's left eye was his "good" eye for the past couple of years... but now, he has no "good" eye. Ryder is Rhett's comfort. Rhett does not like darkness (when he can see the least), so Ryder is there, for–bath time, reading stories, potty time, you name it -- Ryder is there. Ryder goes to all doctors appointments, out to eat, church, just everywhere. Ryder is family and holds a very special place in our heart. When we (parents) can't calm and comfort Rhett, Ryder does. Thank you all for "creating" Ryder.

My daughter has Crouzon Syndrome and craniosynostosis. She had a major surgery at 9 months old on her skull and her eye brow bones! She's now doing amazing! We always wanted to take her to Build-A-Bear so we did for her 1st birthday! She loves her birthday bear! She always tries to take her headband bows off, so we got her bear one, hoping she would want to wear it -- well, she does a little better, but now takes her bears bow every time we put it on!!

Matt has Down Syndrome and the person helping us had my other three kids add a heart to the inside of the bear, to symbolize the extra love that Matt has. 💕 💕

Every Christmas I will return to Build-A-Bear Workshop as in the start 2017 we lost a baby, and I was devastated. In the beginning of December 2017 we visited a store where I purchased a reindeer for my niece. I was given a heart to kiss and make a wish. Two weeks later I found out I was pregnant again in August I had a baby boy! Build-A-Bear Workshop will always be special!

Our daughter was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. She was in the hospital the first month of her life, and had open heart surgery at 3 weeks old. We are so grateful for the nurses and Drs that saved our little girl. We celebrated her 6 month birthday in December and decided Build-A-Bear was the place to go! We named her new best friend Ivy the Reindeer ❤️
